WHO ARE OUR SHAREHOLDERS

YIDC has 17 shareholders. The Shareholders are First Nation Governments from the Yukon and Northern British Columbia.

Shareholders

YIDC has issued 4,250 Class A Voting Shares to Seventeen (17) shareholders who each own 5.882% of the issued and outstanding shares (250 Class A Voting Shares each). This means that each of the 17 shareholders equally owns the company.

Who are the shareholder representatives

Each shareholder is represented by an “authorized representative” also known as the Shareholder Representative. At the time of creating the YIDC Shareholder Agreement (2001) and Amendment to the Shareholder Agreement (2003), the authorized representative was the Chief/Chair or delegated representative. Today, for the purpose of Shareholder Meetings, the “authorized representative” is still the existing term Chief/Chair or their delegated representative.
